Greg is accredited by the European Mentoring and Coaching Council. He draws upon his experience of working as a Chartered Surveyor and a Consultant with Lane4 Management Group.

Greg believes that combining his corporate experience with his background in sport gives him the permission to challenge and support senior level executives. For over 15 years Greg has coached in the areas of FMCG at Coca-Cola Enterprises and Nestle, Leisure at RCI Group, Financial Services at Visa, DrKW, and in Retail at Argos amongst others,

Greg’s coaching is built on his personal journey of winning Olympic gold at 20 years old, then returning to join a younger team in 2012 and recognising his success in winning Olympic Bronze. These achievements were only possible because

Greg had the ability to adapt to the demands of each situation and emotionally connect with his teammates and coach to deliver the best possible performance.

How does Executive Coaching work?

Firstly, Greg will seek to establish expectations with the organization, the line manager and the person. Then Greg works with his client over a number of 1 to 1 sessions to support and challenge the person to make the desired behavioral change. These sessions are regularly reviewed to adapt and connect with the client’s situation.

What does a session look like and how many sessions does a client need on average?

Sessions tend to last around 2 hours each and are usually 1 to 1 although Greg will shadow individuals in their working environment as well as meeting with their team, peers and manager if necessary. An initial engagement would be for 4-6 sessions.
